Christine Phillimore is a highly skilled Teacher, Coach, Trainer and Assessor with a good track record of achievement, following a successful career in Education as a Head if English Faculty. She has worked in East Africa, Israel, South Africa, and all over Europe well as the UK. This gave her considerable insight into different cultures,and the opportunity to learn different languages, some of which she can still remember today! She is a conscientious, self-motivated professional who is focused well-organised with excellent interpersonal skills. Armed with strong determination and resilience, she has the ability to succeed in any challenging environment.
Words and language are Christine’s passion, and she has been fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of clients to help them develop their accurate use of business English. She has delivered business writing courses to such organisations as the Royal Navy, GSK, Imperial College, Lloyds Bank, PIMCO and the Rail Safety Standards Board as well as several universities and local authorities.
In recent years, she has produced a series of articles for the US business magazine, Expert Insights, on topics such as Business Writing, Change Management and Presentation Skills. Writing about grammar for an American audience was an interesting experience. Christine even decided to test her own writing skills, and eventually completed a book on Understanding Resilience which was published in the USA in 2020.
